Performing Ghee Abhishek, or Abhishek with clarified butter, is a sacred form of worship dedicated to Lord Shiva in his Rudra avatar. During this ritual, a Shivalinga is bathed with ghee, accompanied by the chanting of Vedic mantras such as the Rudra Sukta, also known as Rudri Paath.
