Gathbandhan (Nuptial Knot) at Baaba Baidyanath Dham, has a very special significance in terms of Hindu Matrimony, it’s here and here alone that Shiva resides on the heart of Sati (being a Shatipeeth) this divine matrimony is worth experiencing, and symbolizes love Infinitum.

This divine Matrimony is symbolized within the temple complex by a Red Ribbon being tied atop Baba Baidyanath Temple connecting it to Maa Parvati (Shaktipeetha) Temple.
